Initiating connections and engaging with people on their terms are crucial initial steps in building an impactful and sustainable network. In addition to offering general support to communities, the network serves as a conduit for preservation and community healing for Black populations affected by generational impacts of environmental racism.

To sustain a powerful coalition, there must be a sense of shared ownership among members, allowing each individual to personally and professionally connect with our mission. By activating an adaptable network, our aim is to reclaim a narrative rooted in respectability, while holding onto our rich past, and reshaping the regional Black population's relationship with their present and future environment.
